Mike has over 20 years of experience in assisting banks in the design, administration, funding, and regulatory compliance of executive benefit plans.
Mike has served in the West Virginia Legislature for sixteen years. He was first elected to the House of Delegates in 1992 and received more votes than any delegate in the history of his county. He was then elected to the Senate in 1994 where he has served ever since.
Mike has served on a number of committees including the Economic Development and Judiciary Committees. He also serves as Chair of the Labor Committee. As a ranking member of the West Virginia Senate, Mike has an active role in the legislative process.
In 1985, Mike served as student body president while attending West Virginia University. At WVU, he was awarded both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Administration. Mike also has served as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve.
Mike is located in the Charleston and Morgantown, WV offices.
