John H. Milne

John received his B.A. degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1970 and his law degree from the University of Richmond in 1973. He received his Master of Laws in Taxation in 1979 from Georgetown University. John served as a Captain in the U.S. Army.
John is the Managing Member of MMB Consulting, LLC. Previously, John was a practicing tax attorney and served as the head of the tax section at a major Richmond based national law firm. He also serves as a Director of The Trust Company of Virginia.
John is a member of the Virginia, Tennessee, and a past member of the American Bar Associations. He has served as a member of the Closely-Held Business (former Vice-Chairman) and the Employee Benefits Committees of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association and the Corporate Counsel Section of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. He has served as Chairman of both the Tax Section of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Bar Association.
