Steve serves as Senior Analyst for MMB Consulting. In this capacity, Steve is responsible for all client services, including plan design, accounting, and financing for nonqualified plans for banks and other financial institutions. This includes providing regulatory compliance work for all size plans (two to 1,000 lives). He and his staff also provide compensation and benefits analyses.
Steve has been involved in the insurance industry since 1980 and was most recently with The Todd Organization for twelve years and served as Sr. VP, General Manager and Branch Manager for life security sales through their broker/dealer Nathan & Lewis. Steve has also taught at the Federal Reserve in Richmond, VA and the OCC in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining MMB Consulting, Steve was an Advanced Marketing Manager with E.M. Ellman & Associates and a Strategic Planning Manager in Nationwide Insurance Company's home office.
Steve attended the University of South Carolina and earned a BS degree in Psychology/Business in 1972 and an MBA in 1980 Finance/Accounting. While there he taught insurance courses and contributed to a college insurance textbook. Steve received his Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1985.
Steve is located in the Richmond, VA office.
